ACF Chef Takes Home Two Emmy Awards

Walter Staib, ACF Philadelphia Delaware Valley Chefs Association member, received two  Emmy® Awards for his cooking series “A Taste of History” on PBS. Staib won Best Entertainment Program/Special for the episodes “Discovering China’s Past” and “The Roots of Creole: Cooking in St. Lucia.” Staib was presented the awards Sept. 19 by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Mid-Atlantic Chapter. This marks the sixth Emmy Award Staib has received for the show.

A Taste of History” explores, educates and brings America’s culinary heritage to life through the recreation of 18th century dishes of colonial America and beyond. In addition to the show, Staib is founder/president of Concepts By Staib and executive chef/owner of City Tavern, Philadelphia.
